Some things are just very close to who we are. What we are naturally good at and often take for granted. What we love talking about. What gets us enthusiastic, curious, or simply gets us through another Monday.
For me, painting is one of those things.
Having lived through different countries and cultures made me aware of how much we carry internally while life keeps moving around us.
I paint a lot about feelings. The ones we show, but especially the ones we don’t. My work comes from things I have lived, observed or felt, but I don’t want to decide what a painting should mean to someone else.
I think we know when something moves us. We don’t always need to know why.
Everything I sell is produced locally in Amersfoort, and every original and print leaves my studio signed. If a piece speaks to you, I would love to hear what has moved you.
Each piece is personally prepared and packaged by hand, then shipped directly from my studio in Amersfoort. Every original and print leaves signed, with its Certificate of Authenticity enclosed.
Framed prints arrive ready to hang, carefully packed to protect both artwork and frame in transit.
Unframed prints are rolled and shipped in a protective tube, with the Certificate of Authenticity enclosed.
Original paintings are packed with extra care to protect the canvas, and shipped directly to your door.
All orders are prepared and shipped from my home studio in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
